"Sun in the Emerald" Original Acrylic Painting

“Sun in The Emerald” was an exploration of color and pattern to find a balance between the two worlds. This painting started as a very organic experience of layering washes of paint and pattern. As I continued to work through this piece by adding layer upon layer, I found that a peaceful snake on a branch began to emerge and take form. I love the way the colors and patterns dance together throughout the piece.

This piece is an 8”x8” acrylic painting on a hardwood panel. It comes varnished, framed and ready to hang.   (Frame measurements: 10”x10”)
